I dedicated my annual DrumBeat Fest on October 22, 2011 in memory of my long time friend and former instructor Joe Morello. I brought together many of Joe’s top students for an all-day event that featured performances, recollections of studying with Joe Morello and instructional clinics explaining exactly why Morello was considered one of the world’s greatest technicians and jazz drummers.
Due to the extreme length of this event, I split the show into three parts and I also added some additional content especially for the online version.
